Dimosthenis Maragkos was born in Athens where he lives and works as a real estate agent and photographer. From a young age he was passionate about traveling and exploring. That’s why in 2016 he had the idea to create the “Athensphotowalks” with the aim of organizing and charting photographic routes in Greece and abroad.

Since 2013, that he has systematically been dedicating himself to photography, has changed the motive and perspective of each of his journeys and he focus particularly on the urban or non-urban landscape as well as on the human element trying to approach it photographically with sensitivity and a friendly approach, looking for the different in the culture and customs of each place.
He has participated in several group photography exhibitions and various projects. He has been an active member of the Common Routes team since 2017.
